Parents are actively involved at Garden of Discovery Montessori School. They support the school by planning outings, preparing materials for the class, gardening and many other projects.
Parent conferences are formally held twice per year; however it is important that teachers and parents stay in constant communication with one anther throughout the year regarding the student. This is done through mini-conferences, phone conversations, and written dialogue.
Every parent is invited to observe the classroom, once the child has had time to establish his/her independence in the environment. This is a wonderful experience and we suggest a few observations during the school year.
