Fully Accredited Programs

Garden of Discovery Montessori is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) for all our programs.  We also receive the highest scores from the State of Georgia’s Bright from the Start program. 

A Curriculum of Excellence

We proudly offer a Curriculum of Excellence that features hands on work instead of rote memorization.  In Montessori, the curriculum follows the child; the child does not follow the curriculum.  Through this method there is no “falling between the cracks” or “being left behind.”  

Indoor and Outdoor Classrooms

Every classroom is fully equipped with the AMI approved Montessori educational materials. Each classroom has numerous windows and easy access to a peaceful, yet educational outdoor classroom, where  the children the explore gardening, nature study, wood working, and other activities.  Tucked between our soccer field and playground is a beautiful apple and peach orchard that produce fruit every summer. 

Afternoon Enrichment Activities

Art, Music, History, Science, Foreign Language, and Nature are all integrated into the daily Montessori curriculum.  However, we offer fun and exciting enrichment activities such as, Art, Music, Spanish, and Physical Fitness; all taught by professionals in each area.  These activities are designed for that extra spark of interest that your child might have in one of the above subjects.
