Uniform clothing may be purchased from any store that carries school uniforms.  Preferred styles are available from Uniform Depot and Buckhead Uniforms.  Uniforms with fringe, trim, buckles,  tassels or other accessories are unacceptable.  Please label all of your child(ren)’s belongings.  

Toddlers:  Clothing should be comfortable and easy to manage. Elastic waistbands, large buttons, and short sleeves help younger children be more independent.  No onsies, overalls, diapers, or Pull-Up style training pants.

Shoes: Soft-soled shoes in white, black, brown, or navy without characters.  Leather is preferred. Boots, Crocs, and light-up tennis shoes are unacceptable as are shoes with television/popular culture characters.  Foot injuries are more likely to occur in shoes that offer little support.
Casual Fridays: Unadorned denim bottoms or khakis, a GDMS t-shirt, plain t-shirt, or navy Playball t-shirt, and tennis shoes are acceptable.

Jackets and Coats (outdoor wear): Any style or type without characters, logos, popular culture images.

* No characters or popular culture images/logos on clothing, shoes, sheets, blankets, lunchboxes, lunch containers, etc.

Jewelry and other adornments are a distraction and should be left at home. 

Please do not send in backpacks; they are not necessary. 

Please send a complete set of extra clothing.  It is the parent’s responsibility to keep the clothes appropriate as the weather changes and your child grows.
